Publishing accounts

X user connection Add the private X Client ID before connecting the account.

Configured means the private credentials are present. Facebook, Instagram, and X validate their token when a post is attempted. The Connect X button requests posting and media access from the account; media.write is not a Developer Portal checkbox.

Account credentials remain in the private server configuration.

Message templates

Customize each platform separately. Alert details replace the bracketed fields automatically; missing details disappear. Both label-free fields and ready-made labeled lines are available.

Alert Manager wording uses the exact NWS alert ID. If its feed is unavailable, the graphic automatically falls back to official NWS counties or areas. The default social templates use the same Alert Manager message through {broadcast_text}.
